  1. I got this recipe from Hershey's website. I made it and it was so delicious! It is a really rich, moist, dense cake. Even though it was dense it had a lightness to it. It was really good. The texture and flavor were both good, it raised really well, baked well, and was pretty easy to make.
Instead of using the Fudge Frosting recipe, I used mom's butter frosting recipe, halved, and added 3 rounded Tablespoons cocoa powder to the frosting.(I had extra frosting left over.) I think it would be good with the Fudge Frosting too!
p.s. The Hershey's website had a lot of really good looking recipes. Check it out at www.Hersheys.com
